After my first 3-or-so months of beginning this blog, I had racked-up about a hundred miles of training runs and was progressing pretty well toward my goal of being able to run a marathon by the end of November. I was battling long-lasting sicknesses throughout and then the heat of Florida's summer set in and I apparently felt sufficiently justified to explain away my poor training habits. Of course they were never good excuses anyway, but now I've really got stop avoiding it. The race is coming up in only 16 weeks and I've got to get moving, so hopefully you'll start seeing my mileage ticker slowly increasing again. NO MORE EXCUSES!
